Hydroxyethylidene Diphosphonic Acid (HEDP)HEDP stands for Hydroxyethylidene Diphosphonic acid which is an organophosphoric acid corrosion inhibitor. It can easily chelate with zinc, iron & copper ions to form table compounds. Under 250 degree celsius it can show excellent corrosion inhibition. It has good isible threshold effects. It is used in water treatment, cosmetics, detergents and pharmaceuticals.
